Dilworth Old Boys' Centennial Foundation Trust

The Old Boys Centennial Foundation Trust is a fund established to assist current students and recent Old Boys in achieving goals in academic, cultural, or sporting pursuits at which they have a proven record of achievement or dedication.
Many of the awards at the annual prize-giving that are sponsored by the Old Boys (such as the Dux and Proxime Accessit prizes, and also contributions to Gap students and Camp America attendees) are also funded by this Trust.

The Trust owes it origins to two separate Trusts set-up by Dilworth Old Boys to celebrate the centennial of the Dilworth Trust board in 1994 and the centennial of the opening of Dilworth School in 2006. Those original Trusts were established to also fund the Dilworth Donaghmore Cross in 1994, and the chapel organ refurbishment in 2006.

The Trust’s committee includes the incumbent DOBA President, the Headmaster and two elected Old Boys. All grants are made on the basis of suitability and are funded by income earned on assets which are invested in the financial markets.

If you are a recent Old Boy looking for financial assistance in achieving your goals and believe you satisfy the criteria please contact dobcft@dilworth.school.nz. All applications are treated in confidence, successful applications may be promoted.
